Internship with BSSP

It's been confirmed.

After accepting the fact that I might end up spending this summer creating my web site and going on trips, my internship came through. I will be doing an internship with Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners in Sausalito.

I get to work with an awesome agency while enjoying the city of San Francisco!

It's going to be so much fun!

Long Lost Twin?

A classmate found this image on ffffound.com. Even I did a double take. Was I ever photographed in a subway? Maybe this is my long lost twin.

Apparently, her name is Murai and this was taken at the Kyoto station.

Mountain Top Removal by Dominon Power: Creating Permanent Deserts in Deciduous Forests

As copied from DemocracyInAction.org

Dominion Power, Virginia’s largest utility, wants to build a new 585 megawatt, $1.6 billion coal-fired power plant in Southwest Virginia’s Wise County. The new plant would be a major step backwards for Virginia, increasing the state’s dependence on dirty coal and devastating mining practices at a time when we should be moving toward a future of clean, renewable energy sources.

How to make your voice heard: Sign the Petition to Dominion’s shareholders and CEO opposing construction of the plant and advocating smarter energy solutions for Virginia at http://appvoices.org/index.php/air/vapetition.
